Why would you put her on a show if she's shy?

Why on earth would you want your 8 year old daughter to be on a show if she is so shy. Being a parent means you put your daughters well being before your own needs

Maybe she's not ready to go on shows yet if she's shy. She should start in some acting classes first to help bring out her personality. She really needs to find herself first because it's not exactly the nicest industry to get into. Good luck w/it though.

If your child is shy, why would you put her on a show? I would try taking her to some activites where she can be social such as Girls Scouts, skating parties, the Y, or any activites where other children her age are involved. If she is having fun playing games and such, she can easily forget about her shyness.
