You should get two litter boxes and seperate the boxes so the other cat won't dominate both. And you should spray the cat with a little water when it attacks the other one. Well, I hope I helped you out Peace out!

I have the same problem all i did was get another litter box they will eventually get along its just a first come first served, most people don't realize when the introduce a new kitty to a house they should never expose them to the older cat, right away, you should separate them for a couple of days let them smell each other from under the door feed them the same type of food so their stools will smell the same then after a couple of days or even a week or so they will be inseparable.

Some cats are very territorial about their litter boxes. She may also be a bit jealous about the new addition. Get a second litter box for now and, if possible, put it in a separate place. Eventually, the older cat will get used to the younger one and start to share.

Well most of them time you need to have one more litter box than you have cats. I would at least get another one because your female is being possesive of that litter box. Try to give your female a lot of attention because she could just be jealous of the little guy and see the litter box as her opportunity to show her dominance. I would talk to a vet or a cat breeder or person with a lot of cats and see if they have any ideas. Good luck

Put another litterbox somewhere else in the house. A lot of the time cats become territorial of things like that and in some cases will stop using the litterbox if a new cat has used it.

That sucks, it happened to us too! We had to get two litter pans and seperate them. If you think about it, I wouldn't want to share my personal space with a new kitty too!! It's bad enough we bring in new animals to our homes. :) Make sure your new kitty sees the new box and goes to it and only it. It may take awhile, but it will help you out.

Apparently she likes having her own bathroom, and I don't blame her. Get another box for the kitten, put it in another room.
