in wmp go to tools then options and go through it and see if it is set to get info from the net for your music, if it is then while you are online open the player and start playing that album, it should auto get all the info for you

Originally when cd players first came out mp3 and other music file types weren't very popular, so the manufactures only made the cd players read a file format called cda, which is a higher quality format, because it's not compressed like a mp3. Unfortunately the cda format takes up a lot more room on a cd, so you can only fit about 8 to 16 songs on a cd depending on the length of the songs.

if you copy the music files to a cd try converting them first to cda format. Many cd burning programs give you the option of burning a data cd or a music cd. If you chose the music cd option it will convert the files to cda format automatically.

The other option would be to invest in a cd player that is MP3 compatible.
