How do I get contacts into address book?

There are names and data in my Outlook (not Express) contacts but they are not in the address book. I would like to have them match up. I exported the contacts as an Excel file and it looks good.

(1) Go into the Address Book, and get a mental image, or even write down, the names of the fields that each data field contained in each address book entry, like Name, Home Address, Home City, Gender, Web Page, etc... (even if you don't use them)
(2) Go into Outlook. Go to File, select Import and Export (and then Outlook, if you have Business Manager installed) and then Export to a File).
(3) Select Comma Separated Values (DOS). On the next screen, click the Contacts folder. On the next screen, enter a name for a file. Remember that name.
(4) On the next screen, choose Map Custom Fields, then make sure the fields you remember from Step (1) are included in the output file. (Some names are slightly different, like "Business" instead of "Work"...)
(5) When you're ready, click "Next" to export and create the file. Exit Outlook.
(6) Go to Address Book and go through the File--> Import procedure to fetch that file you created above, and you'll be synchronized with Outlook.

There might be an easier way, but I ain't found it...
