Same way it would on any stove -- through heat.

The grease spills over, drains onto the electric heat and burns itself onto the pan. Just cleaned on like that, cooked some beef stroganoff, and a bit of meat grease spilled over and stuck.

It drips over the edge of the pan, its already on the stove and sticks to the pan.
