Actually, only the fundamentalists of each religion fight. Sadly, the are enough fundamentalists on both sides to cause a lot of problems. The reason the fundamentalists fight is because they are convinced that they, and only they, are right about everything, and everyone else is wrong.
True Muslims and Christians both believe in peace and love.

"always" is a strong word to use.
and usually a fight occurs when someone loses self control over their words or actions. Christians and Muslims disagree because simply, our beliefs are very conflicting to one another.
Our beliefs in God's character, way of existance and opperation clash (God isn't hateful, God is triune, God follows laws [depends on denomination] vs Allah can do what he wishes, he has no son and is only spirit)
the main clasher is the teachings, Divinity and life about Jesus. Christians believe Jesus had the same kind of relationship with God we can have, getting wisdom and instruction from the Holy Spirit directly; Jesus was/is God; Jesus never sinned or married. Muslims believe Jesus was just a prophet; was not God; and his life is debateable or of no consequence to anyone.

donno, cos christianiy and islam are about the closest two religions on earth. like they could be the two brother religions.
at least we do beleive that jesus was holy, unlike other religions.
and the tem commendments, we have them all in islam as well.
dont c the point of the fight. but i know this, at the end of the days true muslims and true christians will unite, as our prophet says, against the real enemy. then jesus will come, and clarify everything to his followers (i.e muslims and chritians) which gives me some hope.

Because Muslims believe in Mohamed but they believe on Jesus too!
And because Christianity came before Islam !so after Islam came Christians should believe on it as we believe on Jesus !But they don't!

They both think that their religion is the one "TRUE" religion. They still haven't learned to live and let live.
