Don't worry, just go online and download AVG Antivirus. It's free and it's very good. I have it on all of the computer I have and the ones I build. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5

Did you check to see if this program was compatible with Windows XP for I have found that some are not.
AVG, I believe is no longer a free version, as I had it on a computer, and started getting messages from them stating that as of the 11th Jan, it was no longer a free version, but fortunately, there are others. antivir is a fairly one good one, ewido is another.
However, in the operating files of your program, there should be an option to set some of the parameters, including the scan functions.
They may simply be turned off.
Open the program, and go to the user options, and sometimes, you need to go open many of the various tabs to find the one you need to reactivate it, depending on the particular program you have.

right here is the component, your laptop nevertheless works and if Malwarebytes got here across all those issues, then how come your laptop nevertheless works? that's the way it incredibly works, if a application famous a lot of possibility loose records linked with malware, people think of "wow this application is mind-blowing by means of fact it got here across extremely some records." the fact is that Norton has a tendency to kill the executable document of a trojan yet leaves the different records by means of fact they're rendered possibility loose by using removing the considerable document. monitoring cookies are no longer risky on your laptop, they're merely textual content fabric records. Norton does take care of your laptop, yet no anti-virus application ensures to guard you a hundred% of the time.
