They've already blown 4 engines this year (2 at Vegas test and 2 at California yesteday). DEI is a 9 figure company; I don't understand why their equipment is not at a Hendrick, Roush, or RCR level. They have the money and the resources. So what's the problem?

they need a huge turn around. new ownership, whoever it may be, new people in the garage, new everything. i hate to say it but maybe even new drives. i wouldn't be a bit surprised to see jr look more seriously at either just owning a company or moving on and driving for a new one. he can't drive for his dad forever, and why would he want to. they need a lot of help over there, and i hope they can see that and figure it out soon.

You're wrong... They don't have the resources! Ever since DEI came into NASCAR the only tracks they stand out @ are Restrictor Plate tracks.. And those days are getting so far behind us that they really have no edge there anymore! DEI hasn't dominated those races in a couple of years now. DEI needs a better R&D Dept. by far.. It's not the drivers, and that's for sure! Truex Jr, and Menard are no wash ups! They are just doing what they can, with what poor equipment they have... Truthfully, DEI needs to get it turned around, and turned around SOON. Truex was poised for a top-10 run I think but that engine messed his day all up... Now there both in a pretty big hole in the points @ the start of this season. Not saying that they can't dig out but it's going to be tough! DEI needs to start running Hendrick Motors! That would help! lol

They need some new blood at DEI. The company is run by Earnhardts and the teams by Eurys (cousins of the Earnhardts). Maybe they need a few unbiased perspectives with some new ideas. If you've been trying the same stuff year after year and get similar results that's about what you can expect. The Pettys have tried this approach and look where they are. Only since they got Robbie Loomis and Bobby over there have they showed signs of life.

They have their act together as much as a team can with Dale Earnhardt Jr. as a driver.

Also, I don't want to start a conspiracy theory here (wink, wink, nudge, nudge), but maybe that 9 figure company is being paid by owner theresa earnhardt to make the cars engines suck because she's mad @ dale.

Everyone has issues and right now it is showing where Teresa is doing cheaply motors which has been critizied of her. The only way for them to succeed is to give controlling interests of the company to JR

Well since she has majority ownership in the company, it is pretty hard to kick her out, unless she decides otherwise.

Jr. is out of there anyway, so it don't matter, they will fold.

Teresa's not committed. Kick her out and give the company to the son, not the evil stepmother.
