Jesus is meek but by no means weak,in Mathew the 21st chapter it tells us that Jesus went into the temple and drove out all who was buying or selling because it was sacred(the temple) that He turned over the four footed money changers and the chairs of those that sold doves,Jesus told them My house shall be called a house of prayer but you have made it a den of thieves,i dont suppose the money changers was looking back in regret as Lots wife was but they were defiling Gods temple which is in what way comparable

Odd Idea!
At that time salt was the major currency in the Roman Empire of which Judea was a part. In fact that is where the word "Salary" comes from.
He would only have been using them to make change!(Bad joke)

SInce his purpose was to clear them out of the temple so it could be used for worship, leaving pillars of salt all over the place would not have accomplished his purpose. The building still would not have been usable for worship and prayer.

because imo it was a showing to us of what Jesus really thought of "moneychangers" ... which is basically those who cornered the market on the only jewish coin legal for jews to pay the temple tax, and charge them exorbitant amounts for it ...wateverr the market could bear really... its the same idea today behind the central bank scheme ... and Jesus saw that as persecuting the poor ... and in Gods temple even worse ... its the ONLY time jesus used force in His ministry ...

They were defiling the Temple(House of Prayer).

Matthew 21:13 - And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Mark 11:17 - And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Luke 19:46 - Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
