Me and my ex have been broken up for about 3 months now.. we were together for about 8 months. Our relationship was OK... except for the times we would fight and he'd hit me. Well I felt like he was cheatin and went threw his phone and found it it was true :O( .. i did the WRONG thing & stayed wit him. Well about 3 weeks after that he broke up wit me after this HUGE fight and we just STOPPED talkin. Now I'm back with my ex who i was wit for 2 yrs prior and I keep havin dreams of the one who hit me and cheated on me.. I keep dreamin of us bein back together, us kissin, and then my other dreams of him are that he is wit the girl he left me for or another girl-- what does this mean? I dont think id ever go back to him because of how he treated me (physically & verbally abused me) and I love my boyfriend now... whats up? HOW COME EVERY TIME I CLOSE MY EYES TO SLEEP I DREAM OF HIM?? AND WHEN IM AT WORK I CATCH MYSELF THINKIN ABOUT HIS FAMILY AND HOW MUCH I MISS THEM??? HELP!!!

Your probaly just thinking about him, and wondering what would have happened if you stayed with him. Don't worry the dreams will eventually stop !

the trouble with abusive relationships is you lose too much of yourself in the other person. the dreams are a sign of you losing soemthign and you romanticizing what really happened. they will fade once you see/meet a person who treats you with honesty/respect/and fidelity.
Contact some womens shelters and speak with soem counsellors re: coming to terms with spousal abuse. there is no 24 hour fix for it.
The other think is to contact your doc for an aids/std test. You may have been faithful but he was'nt and you never know what gets transmitted.

good luck!

I hope you aren't the type that likes abuse. Give it time. If you are happy with your current boyfriend then just stop thinking about him, if you just went back to the guy on the rebound and don't really love him then you need to be honest and just find someone else. I bet this guy isn't losing any sleep over you and I wouldn't over him - especially if he abused you.

FORGET HIM CAUSE NO WOMAN DESERVED TO BE HIT NO MATTER WHAT IS GOING ON.YOU ONLY HUMAN SO YOU WILL THINK OF HIM AND HIS FAMILY.BUT YOU NEED TO THINK ABOUT HOW YOU FELTED WHEN HE HIT YOU THAT MEAN HE DON'T LOVE YOU.BECAUSE HE COULD HAVE HURT YOU BAD.
