I'm a Christian ( but not one of those judgemental horrible ones) & there are some atheists on here who feel like me believe whatever you want or not at all but just don't make fun of my beliefs. But others will say your God is fake & won't give my beliefs the respect that I give them as non believers. Why is that? If it's because of all the digusting people who claim to be Christian but really are hypocrites, don't let them make you mad just simply ignore them

It is their life experiences that makes them so mean .They were either abused by their parents or by former religious leaders .
There is good and bad in most cross sections of people .It has nothing to do with religion just a persons character flaws .
I was exposed to religion when i was young ,but NEVER FORCED to believe .I turned out to be an honest and good person without being threatened to a life of eternal hell .
I don`t believe in hell either ,unless you can count my last marriage .

Because atheists are people and some people are nice and some people are not. I too am a Christian and some of the meanest people I have come across have been in the faith! I may not agree with everyone, but I respect the fact that they believe what they believe.

I respect you as a person, all persons deserve respect but I don't respect your silly ideas about God... that is asking for too much.
Atheists are simply individuals who do not share the theists belief in God or God's there is nothing else that unites us, we don't follow a creed or a rule book, we are all each ourselves...atheists make no claims to be nice or united or organised and that's just how it is.

That's just life hun. In all groups or categories of people there are extremes. Some women are very nice, some very mean, most land somewhere in between. The same holds true for all races, religions, ages, sexual orientation, etc, etc, etc.
