God is a healer and I know this without a doubt. Your Dad is going to be fine. I've said a prayer for him. Don't let doubt enter into your mind at any time. Whose report will we believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord. My Pastor was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year and is now cancer free. Since God is no respecter of person, what He did for my Pastor, He will do for your Dad.
My favorite scripture.
God is not man; He will not lie. god is not a human being; His decisions will not change. If the Lord says He will do something, then He will do it. If the Lord makes a promise, then He will do the thing He promised. Numbers 23:19 -- Easy to read version.

of coarse. Cancer is horrible. This may seem weird but I'll type a prayer for your dad. " Dear Lord, please be with Lea's dad. please bless the doctors hands and I pray that they will be able to remove all the cancer. If anyone can do it you can Lord. I pray for a great, fast recovery, and that ever thing would work out. In Jesus's name, Amen." Good luck

Father God in the name of Jesus
We come before you this afternoon and ask you stretch out your might hand and touch this father.
We pray oh God that you will touch, heal and deliver this man from all forms of sickness and disease.
We pray God that you will have mercy on his body and that you will give him many more years of healthy pain free living.
We pray God for your will to be done in Jesus name,
Thank you God
Amen.

Yeah, I'll pray for him.
But where was God before he got the cancer?
God clearly could have prevented it, but chose not to.
Who am I to ask Him to change His wonderful plan.
This is probably His way of challenging you, remember, what doesn't kill your dad, only makes him stronger, so he must be stronger now than ever before, being on the brink of death and all.
Come to think of it... I'll pass on the praying thingy... I don't see it making any difference.
