Can't breastfeed with pierced nipples?

I heard that if you have your nipples pierced, you won't be able to breast feed because supposedly, they piercr through the milk duct. Is this true?

No you can breastfeed if you have had your nipples pierced it has NO effect on the milk ducts:)A friend on fine has her nipples pierced and she is breast feeding her baby and it seem to be going just fine
