i understand almost all of u hate mexicans illegal or legal doesnt matter,my question is how can u say that mexicans commit the most crimes or crimes that white people dont want to commit, i know there are alot of mexican gangs BUT that doesnt make up an entire race nad ther are for more GOOD mexicans here than bad, going my mexicans in prisson doesnt help either, for every one mexican in jail for drugs theres 5 white guys not there, cuz cops dont profile jessica and tyrone like they do jose, its true no matter if u disagree or not,and as far as i am concerned mexicans dont commit the most horrible crimes,i was looking at the national sex offenders registry and i must have looked at 5000 photos, and you know i must have seen 2 mexicans out of about 4998 middle aged white guys... and dont say cuz they didnt regiter, they automatically take the pic when u are incarcerated,if u dont register later when u are poroledthey still have the pic posted you are just filed uncompliant. any takers?

See, the sad thing is that they would rather point out typos in a question than to sit down and think about it and realize that the answer to the question places a lot of blame on themselves. You are so right, it's easier to point fingers. It hurts less too. Self-examination, especially when it reveals that even us White folks are immigrants too, is not necessarily fun to do. People have always looked for a scapegoat for their problems. Unfortunately for Mexicans right now America is using them. The government problems we had were here LONG before the Mexicans came. The social security crisis was already here. The welfare system was already being abused. Medicaid was struggling to survive. Now we just have someone else to blame, even if they aren't using the systems but paying into them through taxes. People don't stop to consider 1st of all that Jose may be legal or if he's NOT legal that he could have come here legally & is not considered illegal because he over-stayed his visa. If so he had every chance to obtain a SSN through which he is paying taxes OR he could have obtained a Tax ID# through which he pays. This happens more than White people realize, or maybe more accurately, more than they care to acknowledge. And you are so right about racial profiling. My husband was stopped by the police just yesterday because the drive-out tag on our Land Rover just expired. The cop slowly approached the car & told him to put his hands on the wheel. She asked for proof of ownership & checked the VIN # on the paper to the car. Meanwhile, I'm sitting in the passenger seat with our two kids in carseats in the back & I'm just dumbfounded. I had been driving the same vehicle, had cops follow me, never stopped. Brown guy stopped, white chick not stopped. It's the same as the Blacks used to face back in the day. A new generation of racism.

OMG!! THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!! I love your questions by the way!! =)

Hmm, well you are right, it's like everybody always blames the Mexicans for everything. I don't have anything against white people, I have things against ignorant people. I'm not going to be racist and I'm not going to generalize a whole race by what some of them do.

I just answered a question, and the lady mentioned an illegal immigrant raping a 6 year old, then babbled on about how all illegals are criminals and how the U.S. doesn't need them to rape their children or whatever. I KNOW there is good and bad in every race or every kind of people, that doesn't mean everybody is. People notice the people they WANT to notice, the people that help them support their opinion. For example, let's say a minuteman sees the lives of 1,000,000 illegals, if 1 is a criminal and the rest are really working hard to support their family, who do you think he will talk about?? Obviously the criminal, he won't take into consideration the 999,999 rest of them!! He'll then babble on about how all of them come here to commit crimes and what not.

So that's my conclusion. People notice what they want to notice. Not only people but the things they did too. I say listen to every side possible, be open and have a heart. I know I'm not a criminal, I've never killed, I've never done drugs, I've never hurt anybody, at least not intentionally. We don't come here with the mentality to hurt gringos, we come with the mentality to live the dream. We're all human, we all bleed red, and we all cry clear.

You are wrong to think Americans are against all mexicans,in fact even legal mexicans are against illegal mexicans.YOU,are so misinformed Im not sure how to answer your question, there have been thousands of sensus, surveys ect to document the cost of illegals in this country. You can be nieve if you choose to be but the fact is illegals come from all countries and can be terrorist, or carry disease. You obviousley looked at different incarceration pics than I did, because yea most are hispanic.Im sure you have your mind made up so im wasting my time,I just hope when America is a 3rd world country you will realize, gee, they had a point.I think you obviousley live like a princess without a clue.

I wouldn't have said it that way, but illegal immigrants (not sure of nationality) are disproportionately represented in our prisons, given their percentage of the population, that is a fact. As to Mexicans, I should also say that our LEGAL immigrants have a disproportionately LOW crime rate as measured against the general population. Likely this is where the immigrant screening comes in.

You have to admit that what happens to the 'good sort' aside, the Mexico / US border has been used on both sides by people hoping to avoid the law, and a percentage of those who come illegally do so because they know they would never pass a background screening.

I'd rather not get into the issues in your details.

uh-ok. I hate illegal immigration, not the immigrants themselves. It has increased crime and gangs considerably. America has to dish out welfare, education, job opportunities, healthcare, etc to people who feel that they are better than everyone else, and dont have to go through the same process to become an American citizen. The illegal ones should be deported and fined. We should cut off benefits. Why? Because we are a nation of law. And we shouldnt screw our own citizens because million of Mexican citizens want them. The Mexican government is pathetic, even enough to promote illegal immigration. Sorry, but it is the illegal immigrants that are in the wrong, not us, no matter what you say.

First, who is "all of u"? Where are you getting the information that people hate mexicans because of crime and/or gangs?

On the matter of illegal immigration: Most legal US residents are against it becuase there are legal ways of doing it. Sure it is a pain, sure it is lengthy, but it there IS a system for doing it legaly.

Most US Citizens recognise what we have to do every April 15 - pay taxes. There is a perception (note, it may not be reality, but it IS definately a perception) that Illegals benefit from our tax dollars without paying their fair share.

In regard to crime - this is a powerful influence on people. Hispanic led gang violence grabs headlines. Most people are more comfortable blaming violence on "the other guy" than admitting that similar or worse crimes are committed by their "own kind".

In regard to sex offenders - There is now a National Registry for these scum bags. I don't care what their ethnic makeup - as long as they can't get to my kid.

Many people believe mexicans do crime because they don/t think anything about coming to this country illegally. Then they continue to break the law using U.S. citizens social security numbers to get jobs and benifets. If Mexicans like it so good here and want to work here in the U.S. why not do it legally. Why not work and pay taxes like any other us citizen. If they go to the hospital and don't have insurance let their credit get destored like mine becuase I do have a social security card. Another reason some us citizens don't trust Mexicans is they speak Spanish and are unwilling to learn English. This is America speak English!!!! Or go home!

A repeated question receives a repeated answer. I don't really care about the country of Mexico, it's culture, it's citizens, it's problems. The only thing I care about are my three sons, and one daughter. When illegals who are Mexican citizens, cross over the Mexican/U.S. border into my neck of the woods, I have no choice but to do what is necessary to round them up off of my land, and ship them home.

The coyotes are armed and dangerous, and I don't care what language they speak or what tribe their ancestors belonged to 500 years ago, all I know is that when they are in my backyard with their cargo, be it drugs, a flask of tequila, or people, they are an invader, a trespasser, an enemy. They have little regard for my space, so the carelessness is mutual. I used to be sympatheitc 20 years ago, but that has been abused to the point where I am numb to the problems of Mexicans now.

Mexican-Americans are cool with me, Mexicans who immigrate legally are cool with me. People who support smuggling, coyotes, i.e. the invasion are not. That's just the way it will be.

Here's My Answer to you.
You sound like you are someone that focuses only on one aspect of this whole problem we have here in the United States. You focus on the negatives that are at hand with the Mexico and United States border problem. When you focus on that part of the problem and that part of the problem alone, then it is a problem. You leave no room for the good stuff. I want to share the good stuff as well as the legal stuff and the bad stuff with you.

I am a typical white male, 67 years old. Born and raised in the United States of America. My family tree dates back to when my ancestors came to America from Irland. I was born, schooled, lived in the United States of America and served in the Military. I do not consider myself Irish American, I am an American of Irish decent. I am by far considered rich, but I am not in poverty either. I have worked VERY HARD all my life for what I have today. I want that for my children, my grand children, great grand children and every legal citizen here in the United States. With these cridentials it should be noted that I have a say in what is good or not good in my community and for this country.

I really dislike it when I hear someone say, you don't like Mexicans just because they are Mexicans! Let me start out by telling you that I can name about a dozen or more Mexicans by name in my community (small town America) that I am very good friends with. Some of these folk are business people to. I know these folks very well and I welcome any of them to be my next door neighbor. These are people who can walk down the street with me and don't have to hide from a law enforcement or border agent everytime they see one. What this means is that I don't dis-like Mexicans just because they are from Mexico. I dis-like all methods used to break the laws in the United States. When people here break the law or break the law by coming here, that's wrong! People being in this country illegally, certainly falls into that catagory. I don't even dis-like people who are here illegal. However, they broke the law of this land and therefore should be brought to justice.

I understand that most people use "Making a "Better Life" for an excuse to come across the border illegally. I am deeply sympathetic with that, but all this does not make it legal. That just does not justify the fact the a law was broke by someone.

I don't know you, not sure if I would want to or not. However, if you lived next door to me and you were in this country legally, I would make every effort possible to be a good neighbor.

Now, having said all that, I do believe this whole mess is well MESSED UP. I know a lot of U. S. born people would agree with me on that. Probably most of the other stuff I said also. I will go out on a limb here and say that I could handle the fact that we DID NOT EVEN HAVE BORDERS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA AND MEXICO. I did not say I would vote for it, I just said I could live with it.

hispanic people represent what about 14% of the population. Now that means that about 14% of the jail and prison population should be hispanic on average.
What you are saying is that the only reason mexicans are in jail is cops profile them.
Well even if they did profile them they were found guilty werent they. Which means that it doesnt matter if they are being profiled they ARE committing the crimes.
The only way what you are saying would have any validity is if after being stopped or arrested we found that they werent committing the crimes.
So we find that mexicans commit way more crimes than their segment of the population represents.
