my best friend don't have yet the date for the wedding, but she has the colors choosen (aqua blue, brown with lilac and green and gold as accents for details) she is hoping for a fall wedding but i am clueless for flowers that will work under those colors, specially blue and i am trying to help her with this detail...
her wedding gown will be on the ivory golden color, and so far will be an outdoor ceremony with an indoors reception...as a note she lives in Puerto Rico, so living in the Caribbean is also important when choosing flowers...

Thank you ya'll for any suggestions...

Here are some blue flowers.... Also there are some flowers that are white & you can get them dyed any color you want by a florist. I hope this helps :)

We were thinking of the same colours, but it was easy to get very frustrated so we had to give up in the end. However, there are possibilities - the important thing is that you should try to avoid getting flowers for all of those colours - at least one of them should be reserved as ribbons to complement the flowers. There are many colours in there and they are very easy to clash.

With green and gold assumed as accents via ribbons, the best option here is irises - very bright, large, stylish, easy to accessorise and hard to go past. Delphiniums also look great and are perfect for "garnishing". Offset these with some pale orchids and baby's breath to bring out their brightness.

Beyond this, I'm afraid you really need to get the date for the wedding first, then speak to a florist from her region to find out what's actually available at the time - otherwise, you're likely to be building some fairly expensive castles in the air.

However, if she decides to use blue as the ribbon, then your choices open up radically: brown basic sticks look amazing against purple Singapore orchids, yellow roses and evergreen, and put the lot against a white tablecloth with a pale blue runner and it'll really work.
