The apostles said to the Lord, "Make our faith stronger!"
Jesus replied: If you had faith no bigger than a tiny mustard seed, you could tell this mulberry tree to pull itself up, roots and all, and to plant itself in the ocean. And it would!

Luke 17:5-6 (CEV)

A week later the disciples were together again. This time, Thomas was with them. Jesus came in while the doors were still locked and stood in the middle of the group. He greeted his disciples and said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and look at my hands! Put your hand into my side. Stop doubting and have faith!"

Sorry, I cannot recommend you any book in the bible to read. Why is that? you may ask. Because I don't know your faith, if it is GOOD FAITH or WRONG FAITH. If it is Wrong Faith, it is good to doubt it...

so, I'll just recommend these sites to you:

Personally, I first would go to my Jesus and ask Him, . . .why? Why am I poor? Why am I troubled by what I see in this world on the news? Where are you God? He always will, in some way answer you! Through His word or through other Christian friends, or spiritual advicers like pastors, and those Christians on this forum.
As far as seeking the Bible when your faith is troubled, which thank God is hardly ever for me, I would read once again about Job! Now if anyone had a reason to question God, ever in the history of mankind, it was Job! But notice what happened to Job only served to strengthen his faith in God! PTL

I wish interpreting the bible might get rid of doubts, yet to be truthful, in case you fairly examine the bible heavily, you will finally end up with lots greater questions and doubts than solutions and resolutions.

I don't think you need to read in the bible if you are doubting faith. I think you feel it in your heart and I think you know what you want. I think you should go in nature and sit and think and ask you self what you feel not what MAN tells you that you should feel.
