It all depends how one perceives God!
If you take a good look around you and you are able to reasonably explain life, nature, humanity and the beyonds, then you have answered your question you self and you have found the truth about God. If you are unable to give a satisfactory answer to what surrounds you, then your only alternative is to keep seeking the truth and hope that some day you will be able to find it.

The first question is "What do you mean by god" ... and I'll demonstrate that we can never get past that question.
Here is a typical conversation:
Fundy: Do you believe in God?
Atheist: What do you mean by God?
Fundy: The creator of everything, and all life.
Atheist: So god created himself?
Fundy: No, god always existed.
Atheist: Was this god "alive" when it did this?
Fundy: Of course, god has always been alive.
Atheist: So, god created himself.
Fundy: No, god always existed.
Atheist: You still haven't told me what a 'god' is... you just told me what you believe it did.
Fundy: The almighty creator.
Atheist: That's a title, not a definition, or description.
Fundy: The supreme being.
Atheist: Is that like a supreme pizza?
Fundy: God is everywhere.
Atheist: So far you've told me nothing about what god is!
Fundy: God is LOVE!!
Atheist: Love is an emotion, and emotions exist in your mind, as a product of your imagination... therfore god is imaginary.
I rest my case.

The real question here is, how does one define God? If a person's God is their material possessions, then yes. If God is the universe itself, then yes in my opinion. If God is some man up in the clouds, then I don't think so.

I say yes but you need to find this out for yourself. Why don't use ask, i.e. pray?
If there is a God and it is important for you to know that then you will get an answer to your prayers.
If there is not a God then you will not get an answer
I believe God wants us to really show that we want to know before we get and answer. I don't think that praying once will be enough to get an answer. I think you will really need to study it out and spend a lot of time praying.
Hope this helps.

It impossible to determine conclusively whether there is a god or not, whatever people may declare on either side of the debate.

I think we have a maker. Now if you want to call him God or if you want to call him Mr.Batteries is up to you. I think we were created but after that I think we do what we want in the end we don't decide.
