I suffer the same as you, my straight hair drives me mad...
I bought a curling wand from Priceline for $15.00 and use that to create bounce in my hair.. The cheaper alternative is to wash your hair, then while its wet scrunch some mousse through it, flip your head down and gently blow dry it, scrunching your hair at the same time.. You will have bounce and body in your hair..but this is just temporary...If your after a more permanent bounce in your hair, go to a repratable hairdresser and ask for a loose perm, they are not too expensive, but the chemicals can dry out your hair..
Good Luck

what I used to do although it is time consuming wash your hair at night and then put a few plats in your hair while it is still wet then take them out in the morning your hair will be wavy, maybe use some hairspray as it may go a bit fuzzy especially if you brush it.

Get a defuser, and some curl enhancing products. Or to just add body to your hair, blow dry your hair with your head hanging upside down.

Go into a salon and have them style it the way you want...ask them to walk you through it and give you a bunch of professional tips...they will!
