You will need Bacon Grease to cook in. Lots. Used grease from Fried Chicken, steak or French fries can work too.
Get seasoned flour (you take flour, paprika, cayenne, salt, pepper, oregeno - it will look red). Get a batter of egg and butter. Dip in the batter then into the seasoned flour and fry. You might want to experiment with the time to see what you like best.
Easy, crispy, tasty.
Obviously the idea is to cook the worm in something that taste like something you like and then give it a batter coat so that it doesn't look to much like a worm either.

Make sure you put the worms alive in clean corn meal for several hous before you cook them, it gets the dirt out of the worm, because the worms eat the cornmeal and cycle the dirt out. You don't want to eat that dirt.
Trust me I know.
Then wash, dip in clean meal, and pan fry until crispy.
