Allow yourself at least 10 minutes to start the car and don't be in to much of a rush to drive off, let the engine warm up first especially in the cold mornings for the engine oil thickens in the cold, while the engine is warming up you could instead of just sitting there make sure that the windows are clear so that you can see all round you, have the heater on a low setting and adjust the controls of the heater so that the warm air blows on to the front window screen, always have your car serviced on a regular basis, for without the car it can be a long walk or travelling by bus which are not very reliable these days and can cost a lot in fares.

consider JG - a sparkling battery could treatment the difficulty, if its something else like the alternator then a minimum of you already know the battery will no longer aid you down for a solid 12 months or 2. you should ask the storage that put in the hot plugs and filter out in the event that they might examine the present going to the battery to make particular its charging. optimistically they're going to try this for loose. Or, in case you have AA or RAC homestart conceal they might try this for you. Sal has a factor - your starter motor must be sticking. turn your headlights on: shiny - battery ok Dim or ineffective - battery flat

Oils thicken up in the weather. You didn't say if it's a shift or auto transmission. If it's a stick, take it a bit easy on the clutch and keep the rpm's up until you've gone a mile or two. You may also need to have it serviced and the error codes checked, if any. Good luck.

can be the idle speed control valve sticking,or on the early fiesta the pcm reqs a software up date, also you may have a air leak on the inlet manifold, there is a blanking plug which cracks and lets in air and the engine managent system trys to take over to keep the car running.

without more info i would suspect the e.c.t. ( engine control temperature sensor) this item senses when the engine is cold and tells the e.c.u. to give a richer fuel mixture until the engine Worms up a bit, they do tend to be a common item to fail on fords

sounds like a fuel issue. have you changed the fuel filter lately. stalling can be caused by a number of thing I would recommend a tune up, have them check your fuel pressure.
