Under the hood there is a lable that will tell you exactly what was put in by the factory. I believe that car came with some platinum plugs that should last for 50,000 miles. Ask the sales rep who sold it to you to find out.

We just changed the plugs in our 5.7L hemi - the best thing to do is go with the stock plugs, which are regular Champion copper plugs. No need to get the expensive ones (especially since there are 16 plugs in the hemi....) It is also best to change the plug wires and coil pack boots at the same time.

I would personally run NGK V-Power primarily because of the wire size in their design. We raced their plugs in a Mopar modified for 5 years and never lost a cylinder during a race due to plug failure, and we did NOT change them every week, just pulled them out and and checked them these were 650-700 horse 392 small block strokers on dirt tracks.

Look on the emissions sticker under the hood. It will tell you the plug the factory used, along with the gap.

PLEASE check the gap of your new plugs. "Pregapped" plugs aren't usually. One good drop in shipping, and the gap will be off. Takes just a few minutes, and gappers are cheap.

I would upgrade to the Champion Platinums, I have been using Champion for 27 years, my favorite plug.

You can use the standard Champion RJ-12YC, but I recommend the Autolite APP5224 Double Platinum, gap to .035
