I want to plan a trip sometime this year when is it best for me to travel?

i think between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and also in january thru march....kayak.com is the way to go!

Typically "off season" when the kids are in school. So say, September and October ... up through the Thanksgiving holiday, then again in January and February.

depends on where you're going- many places have an "off" season- ie summer in Florida since it's hot, humid, hot, hurricane season, and did I say hot? If you go in the off season, it's likely airfare would be cheaper.
