Building a wall around your heart will only make you suffer more and you will end up hurting someone who can really see and love you for who you geniunely are, I know that it is hard to trust someone else and you might even say that you just want to mess around, but one day that one person will come in your life and you will hurt eachother cause of the walls that you put up. Trust me I lived that with a man I saw him for who he was and I fell in love with him eventhough he had said he could never love cause he was scared, but you know what he did fall in love with me and in the end we hurt eachother cause he ended up cutting those feelings off, Now tell me is that fair! Anyways Good luck and don't bring that bad karma in your life.

No sweetheart... you are not wrong. I have been there but you have to take great risk to get great rewards. If you go through life scared of everything you are not going to experience great things. Sure sometimes it hurts really bad but think of all the good times. Just remember, Never Let the Fear of Striking out keep you from playing the game! You may miss the one if you don't let your heart live a little! :)

Keep the wall built, but take down a brick at a time as you can't let one d**k head spoil things for you as there will be someone special that will come along

That's good, that's what I do too. You are doing this because you want to protect yourself and believe me it is a good strategy, and it definitely helps you avoiding being hurt. When the right person comes, you'll realize as soon as you se him and in that moment you'll automatically open your heart to a person who deserves it. You don't have to open yourself to any person, just to the ones that really matter.
