Why does Ford suck so much?

At least Chevy came out with two good cars. Corvette and Camaro. And Ford has the Focus and Escort?????

You guys need to read again. I know the Camaro and Escort are out of production. That's why I said "Chevy came out with two good cars". Past tense.

Moving forward, the Z06 might be slower in the straight but it kills the GT in the track. I see Z06's taking on F430's but I never see a GT do that.

P.S.: Dodge and Pontiac suck even more so don't get me started.

As a ford tech i can tell you some days i also find that they suck.But have buddies that work for Gm and Dodge and the tell me they feel the same way about there product. The Last time i checked Ford still made the Mustang i don,t see any new Cameros on the road.They also have the Ford Gt .They stop making the escort quite a few years back.Buddy everybody has there favorite make so don,t put down people if they like something else.They way it going lately we will probably all be driving imports in the future

Wait did I read that right? First the new ZO6 does not smash on the GT the Z06 has 505hp the GT has 550hp from a supercharged v-8, The Z06 goes 0-60 in 3.7 sec, the GT goes 0-60in 3.3 sec, that's a big difference, not only that but the GT beats the Z06 in every acceleration category they have, 0-100,1/4 mile, not only that but the Z06 top speed is 198mph and the GT top speed is i think 205 mph that's the same as 440 grand Porsche Carrera GT. Now you can argue that the Z06 is 70 grand while the Ford Gt is 100 grand but that's the price u pay for the extra power and high speed engineering. Now Ford does build some crappy cars but when it comes to the Ford GT that's dead wrong. More Money was put into the Ford GT car then any other Ford car at the time the GT40 was legendary, and Ford had to do it right or risk pissing a lot of people off. Second the Mustang is the the best bang for your buck muscle car out there. Comes from the factory with 300hp and for 3000$ you can have that up to 450hp with just bolt-ons, try to do that with a Hemi, or a Camaro. So before you knock the Ford muscle u better do dome research that's the Poor Mans hot rod. As far as the escort or focus goes who cares how long they last u can buy a new for dirt cheap.

only people like you that ask stupid questions like this $uck. I dont see a camaro coming out of the chevy factory . I have owned alot of chevys, some dodges but I can honestly say that my fords have never let me down as the chevys and dodges did. The GT will kick the vettes butt in a race. If I was you I would start caring about american made cars before theres none left and all you'll have to choose from is foreign ****.As for the escort they havent been made for years now. The focus is a good car compared to the aveo, the focus is made in herimisillo mexico by the way not overseas as one of the other replies said.

Why compare apples to oranges.
Compare the Cavalier to the Escort... Both dead lines of cars that could not compete with the imports.
Compare the Aveo to the Focus...Both made overseas to be the entry level cars.
Compare the Corvette to the GT40...Lots of design money, limited sales, lots of press.
Compare the Camaro to the Mustang...Where did the Camaro go?
Compare individual model sales figures over the past five years.
I think by looking at these things objectively neither car manufacturer has really been effective at producing quality cars that the public wants, but Ford figured it out with the Mustang re creation while GM still is blundering along. GM is now focusing on their new trucks while Ford has discovered that trucks sold better than cars ten years ago.

Um... I'm not a Ford fan myself, but at least I know that they have better cars than Chevy in some areas. Escort and Focus do not compete with Corvette and Camaro. Ever hear of Mustang GT500, or Ford GT?

I love Chevy and Pontiac, but if I was to buy something off the lot, it would be a Ford and probably a mustang, Camaros have looked like trash since 82, the new GTO is nothing like the old ones, The vette's lost there sex appeal, and classic lines in the 80's, and the 70's were boring. The mustang looked like trash from the 70's on till they redesigned them.

I just wish they'd make true muscle again, instead of making tonka toys.

The 1967 ford GT-40 has smote the 2003 Z06 and 98 SS Camaro on the thack by a good1min. I have seen a 94 Probe GT stock V6 running a turbo what 4 PSI of bust smock a Z06 hell go to www.probeaddction.com and you see the probe ps: So you suck

I like my Fords & I own two. My Camaro was ok I guess. My Corvette was not comfortable. My 3 Dodge products all had fires in the wire loom. I've replaced tires on my Fords & that's about it. I would say Ford has been very reliable for me. They ride nice as well & are comfortable. The answer is you must not care for Ford products.

First of all, you're an idiot. The Camaro ended years ago, and that was a fugly pile. Fast yes but ugly. After working on both types of cars, GM makes one of the worst. I have seen things go out in them that never go out in Fords. Plus, the Escort hasn't been made in a long time either. Nice try though at starting drama.
