You can work within your community as a volunteer. Check out your local volunteer center. They specialize in finding you volunteer opportunities that match your interests and meet real community needs. They have one-time, short-term, and long-term opportunities, and they have a diverse group of local non-profit organizations that they work with.

Volunteer centers work directly with local non-profit groups, and they typically screen different volunteer opportunities for suitability, so unlike bulletin board posts, these volunteer opportunities and agencies have been through a qualification process.

How old are you Destany? Some organizations have to follow laws in hiring those under a certain age. Ex; the animal shelter that I volunteer at in Pennsylvania is limited by state law to only allowing those over 16 to walk dogs.
My suggestion would be for you to sit down and think about what you really have a passion for. Maybe it angers you when you watch the news with your parents to see stories about animal abuse or any other issue. You could contact one of you local animal shelters and get a copy of their wishlist and solicit local companies for needed items.
Or you could maybe help some of your elderly or disabled neighbors. Also check out www.volunteermatch.org
You can search by your zip code to find charities near you or search by your area of interest. You may even find some that are internet only if you do not drive.

go to the beach that is what i would do the onlt prob og going in the summer is that everybody is going to be there so pick somewhere where as lot of people do not go

volunteer at a hospital,vets office,nursing home,etc the experience will be great!
