i seen it yesterday it looks like a teddy bear.... it had light blondy brown fur and adorable!

It was most likely a Pomeranian. All of the other teddy bear appearing dogs become large, and not so teddy bearish.

LIGHT BLONDY brown fur? Doesn't sound like a chow. Was it really short? Long body? Stubby legs, and big ears? Could be a pembroke welsh corgi.
Your best bet might be to go to either www.akc.org or www.ukc.org and scroll through the different breeds to see if there are any dogs that look like what you saw.
BTW, if you are looking for a dog to own, these two sights are excellent resources. Don't go by just the dog's looks. Chows ARE adorable, but can be difficult to handle. In fact, one year they were the leading cause of emergency room animal bite visits in the state of Texas. Then again, I have a friend who raises chows, and I never hesitate to stick my face right down into her "Punkin"'s adorable mug for lovin'! It is all about the owner. A little soap boxing there. Sorry.

I have a lakeland x border terrier that looks like a teddy bear. There is a little girl who we see and she calls him teddy. His name is Ginger Chew chew. I got him from the rescue when he was 11 months his name then was jasper chew chew. They didnt tell me the chew chew bit was cause he chewed shoes. He out of that now though. He all curly and really orangy ginger colour.has long eye brows and a cute brown button nose

It could be a chow,they look like teddy bears.
Pippin on "come outside" is like a teddy bear,she's a tibetan terrier.

A baby shizu is soft and fluffy like a teddy bear.
I have two Bichon Frise, they are pure white but alot of people tell me they look like teddy bears. Hope this helps?

Baby chows. I have one and when he was little he was little fur ball and still is. His name is "Teddy:" for Teddy Bear.

I agree chows do look like bears. But I just got a newfoundland mix and he also looks like a little bear. check out newfoundland puppies on the net.
