I have a chocolate lab that seems to have quite a bit. Brushing doesn't help.

NEVER NEVER NEVER use human products on your dog. It will just aggravate the problem. They make shampoos for dogs with dander issues. You can also bring your dog to a groomer to get cleaned professionally. If you explain the dander problem, they can give your pooch the proper treatment.

Try getting more oil in your dog's diet. Drizzle a little olive oil on the food once or twice a week or slip the dog a fish oil capsule once or twice a week as well. You need to get pure oil in the body. The fish stick idea is great, but those sticks are so loaded with bad that things that outweigh the good.

These are just a few of the things that have helped my parent's dog and her extreme dander.

Your dog is a water breed, she has dry skin. Try adding some fish to the diet. Frozen fish sticks are much better than a vitamin supplement
Shampooing wont help at all so only try to bath every 6 months.

No way, you do NOT use human products on dogs, it will only dry the skin and make the condition worse. If I were you I would consult the vet to see what he/she would recommend or go to your local PetSmart/PetCo and ask what they recommend or consult a groomer, they are experts in hair/skin care for dogs.
