Hollywood is definitely cleaning up its act, but you may still find some old ma 'n' pa places with hourly options toward the east end of Hollywood (at or east of Western Avenue), along Hollywood Boulevard or Sunset. You're more likely to find hourly rates down by LAX in Inglewood or Hawthorne.

Hourly Hotels are no longer in Houston. It is against their city laws. There were too many rub and tugs for profit going on. If you find one be cautious that you possibly could be raided.

when u say hourly i assume why you are saying this most hotels dont do this anymore you can try listing your question on www.kaboo.org or www.craigslist.com the other choice is rent a room where it makes it worth going there twice once today another time tomroww enjoy

Do yourself a favor - stay at one of the less expensive, but reputable, places and pay for the night. How long you stay is your choice.
There are a couple of decent places on Ventura Blvd in Studio City.
