To manic deppresive/bipolar dudes.How do you like haldol?

If you've used this medication,what was your expieience like versus other medications such as lithium?Id be intereste also to know what ;if any side effects you had.

I was on haldol years ago because I was hearing voices. They had to take me off because it made me so hyper.I never knew they gave it to manic- bipolar,

I WOULD RECOMMEND A VERY LOW DOSE- AGE ...I TOOK IT AND WOULD WAKE UP BITING MY TONGUE AND ALSO , HAD EXPERIENCE A HELICOPTER SOUND WHEN I WOULD WAKE UP IN THE MORNING ..IF YOU TAKE IT , YOU NEED COGENTIN FOR SIDE EFFECTS ..LIKE RESEMBLES PARKINSON'S DISEASE.
