I've read so many answers from the good Christians on this forum, from people who seem to follow the Bible really well. I've seen them tell other religions, such as JW's and the Mormons that there are Bible passages that they do not follow so they can't be Christian. So to you good Bible following Christians, I was wondering, where do you put your wives when they are menstruating? The Bible says in Leviticus that they should be seperated from you for 7 days because they are unclean, and I was wondering where you put them. Thanks.

Also, in Exodus is says that if you work on the Sabbath that you should be out to death, so how do you kill people in your church who do that? What about kids who curse their parents? In Matthew it says they should be put to death too. What's the preferred method of killing your children when they curse you?

I'm not married, but the whole "kosher" thing (I.E.: ceremonially clean & unclean) was abolished under the New Testament (Acts 10 &11).

Go back & learn some basic Christianity before you continue to make yourself look silly here on Y!A.

====edit====

Actually, Jesus said that only those without sin could cast the first stone (John 8). So we cannot stone anyone under the NT, either.

Like I said, go back and re-read you Bible, and try to learn something this time, instead of asking stupid questions that you could easily find the answer for yourself.

Somewhere within what is understanding you will find the young and old spirits that believe in eternity. The beckoning energy, the feel that lasts forever, is where the pure resides. The path no matter the illusions endured takes a life time to earn. And the moments that you carry become the teachers of moments that talks the truth for you when what is, is left behind. And know, any less leaves one reaching out of time.
Therefore without a thought, you must know it wasn't the thin line that failed to support minuscule measures of weighted illusions. It was you. Therefore only absorb what is of value not what is of illusions that allows one to over simply what cannot be seen..
There are no answers here, so do not judge ones path taken to find the hidden truth that will become the path of eternity for all. For the answer is of what is real at the very last moment not of what is real to you here..The moments learned here become what is reached for.

The "seperation" is sexual. You don't put them out of the house, you bozo!

Also, this is a Jewish law, not intended for Gentile Christians. The "uncleanness" is ritual uncleanness, a definition that is only meaningful if you sacrifice sheep in a temple. You're not allowed in the temple if you're "unclean". It's not just a matter of respect for the temple and priests, it was also a way of segregating sick people from the public. Some Jewish laws were actually public health regulations.

Read the New Testament, the old covenant was fullfilled with Christs death.

6But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.

7For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. 8But God found fault with the people and said[b]:
"The time is coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah.
9It will not be like the covenant
I made with their forefathers
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them, declares the Lord.
10This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11No longer will a man teach his neighbor,
or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,'
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more."[c]

13By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

You're confusing laws with commandments. The Ten Commandments were given by God to all mankind. They are immutable -- "Thou shalt not kill," "Thou shalt not commit adultery," etc.

Laws, on the other hand, are changeable. What was necessary for good health and well-being (not eating shellfish or pork because they spoil easily or contain parasites) in the early days isn't necessary now. Jesus fulfilled the law and all of its requirements, so we are now under grace.

So we are free of the law, but not the commandments.

Women were unclean during their period not bc the period itself was bad, but bc they were bleeding. It provided a freeway for disease to possibly infect the woman. By declaring the time of a woman's period to be unclean, God was helping to prevent the spread of any infection that might result from her bleeding. Remember, they didn't have showers or medicine like we have today to prevent infection, so they had to take extra precautions.

I find that thinking about the purposes of the laws rather than just criticizing them helps to gain understanding. Try it sometime.

Trinitarians try to withhold the term "Christian" while wielding the term "cult" like a sledgehammer to obliterate any thinking analysis of what the supposed "cultist" actually believes. Trinitarians embrace a bizarre, non-etymological, quite arbitrary definition of the term "cult" which includes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century slandered Christ's followers with the insulting term "Atheist" (!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Secular authorities in academia and government routinely acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion. With more than 16 million associating with Jehovah's Witnesses, the term "cult" seems very out of place in a fair discussion of Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians.

Sadly, Trinitarians seem more interested in perpetuating their human traditions, Greek philosophy, and Babylonish fetishes rather than reasonably examining the Scriptural definition of "Christian". In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all the times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"

(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”

(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name

So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

As Christians we are not under the Law of Moses. We are followers of Jesus Christ and the New Covenant. The books you quote from are part of the Law and don't apply anymore. Boy am I glad! LOL.
