...Bad.
There's a lot of fructose in the apples that you have. They're too high on the glycemic index for sleeping on.
In the morning is a good idea; the insulin response will be beneficial for kick starting your metabolism for the day. Plus it won't HURT to have the extra vitamins and minerals right off. I'd suggest a multivitamin in the morning as well.
Take care. And before bed, I'd eat something slow digesting or nothing at all. With NO SUGARS - not even 'natural' sugars, as in fruits. ...Some milk may be acceptable, because of the positive benefits, but only if you are trying to lift or build up your body. Otherwise, just don't eat 90 minutes before bed.

Horrible, depending on the person.
Metabolism slows right before bed (and during). Eating before it would just cause you to store all of the sugars from your prior food and create fat.
Also, fruits actually contain a lot of sugars. Take this into consideration. Eat a balanced meal, so as to not overload with fruit thinking they are healthier than most. Anything in moderation is great. Go over that limit and you will gain a few pounds (or worse.)
In the morning, though, is the perfect time to snack on fruits. You shouldn't eat too many, as stated above, but a few pieces or slices are perfect to boost your metabolism.
Also, green tea is the new in.

It all depends on your total calories as far as whether that will make you fat. If you eat enough in the rest of the day then adding 100 calories for a fruit salad will add up to gaining weight over the years. As far as whether just before going to bed or first thing in the morning, it is still adding up the calories. Time of day has nothing to do with it.
The one big negative is that if you have a sweet snack like that just before bed and do not brush your teeth you are leaving sugary food between your teeth that will end up encouraging gum disease bacteria (not as bad as processed sugars but still a problem). There are worse snacks than fruit salad but lack of brushing and flossing will kill your gums and loosen your teeth in the long run.

I don't see what's wrong with it. I lose 63 pounds an hour sleeping. You will get rid of those calories during the night. So, it doesn't matter. It's your whole calorie diet in which you have to worry about. What's wrong with fruit. If you are eating 10 apples a day, it might be a problem.

Salad isn't a meal that's a factor of meal yet fruit could be a sufficient dessert. in case you had in hassle-free terms a salad you would be hungry in an hour. yet while when you had a actual meal alongside with a salad a chew of fruit for dessert could be very relaxing

Anything you eat just before you go to bed doesn't have time to burn off. It will sit like a rock on your stomach. But I guess it's better to eat fruit than it would be to eat something really heavy.
