Gaaaah! Paper kills trees, but plastic just breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces but never goes away, filling the food chain with foreign hydrocarbons. I always forget to bring bags from home or I don't bring enough, and the bagger looks at me funny anyway.

I guess I'll just eat in the store.

Paper as it is much easier to recycle than plastic

Both. The paper stands up nicely and hides my garbage, while the plastic adds strength and moisture control.

Whatever you grab first. If I take paper, I kill a tree. If I take plastic, I clog a landfill.
There is no good option.

plastic! plastic have handles for easier carry, you can reuse them several times, they can get wet and still be usable, you can use them for your small trash cans, paper is hard to handle when you have more than one, it gets wet its ruined, and the bottom falls out easily. that simple
