I dont have a problem, but there are older versions of Yahoo messenger that dont have as much Spy ware on board,,
you can google that, just ask for Older version of yahoo messenger,

I have yahoo and it don't ask me that uninstall yahoo messenger and reinstall it i don't believe that yahoo is asking you that.If you are being sent that thorugh a im block it because it could be a message that has a virus attached and it steals your password.
