Excuse me as I am learning.
My friend tells me thought, that atheists are STILL cruicifying him. Is this true. Is this true? Are atheists still crucifying Christ? That would make them quilty and punishable to hell, yeah?

My dear Christian brother you are mistaken it wasn't Atheists who killed our Lord Jesus. It was the Romans by the urging of the Jews. they were all religious people just not of the Christian faith. Though many Atheist would like to get rid of the Christian element they are not killing Jesus they do not believe Jesus exists. Some are very close and fear God they are just about ready to bring into the fold. Have patience and pray for them. God bless.

"Atheists" didn't kill Jesus. Jesus was killed by a religious group who believed he was blaspheming by calling himself the son of God. People who were followers of the Jewish faith believed that Jesus deserved to die for claiming to be the son of their God. Whether that's right or wrong is not the issue, so please do not be offended. However, when people say "atheists are still crucifying Jesus" they mean that they still are choosing to reject him and in doing so, are supporting his crucifixion.

The Jews demanded the death of Jesus from Pilate he gave in to them and handed Him over to his soldiers who crucified Him. So the Jews take the responsibility for his death but it was atheists (IE.roman soldiers) who actually killed him.

If anyone killed him, it was the Romans, not the Jews. Of course if you find yourself in charge of writing about the events surrounding the murder of your "savior," chances are you're not going to blame yourself. (Put another way, if the Jews had wanted to kill Jesus, he would've been toast without any fuss whatsoever.)

people who believed in God crucified Jesus- they thought they were "doing God a favor because Jesus said He and the Father were one".
