What is the pieces of metal that a AAA battery fits into called?

I am looking for the part negative end fits into. Any suggestions on where to find this part? I have checked at radioshack.com, homedepot.com, lowes.com. I'm trying to fix a $130.00 Digital Voice Recorder.

It will be called the negative battery contact.

It will probably be made especially for the unit and not be an off the shelf part which is generally available.

If you can't get spares from the manufacturer or importer you should be able to make a replacement yourself using thin brass sheet (or better still phosphor-bronze) available from a hobby/model shop.
