Follow the directions recommendations on when to wash your hair. After the first wash following haircoloring, then you should be okay to apply oil--jojoba is the best.
For those uneducated, hair oil is a great way to protect your hair by sealing in moisture and protecting the cuticle. It's use is not limited to a specific race or gender.

Do you mean the hot-oil treatment? If not, I don't know what other oil you would be talking about. However, it is okay to use any kind of oil 2-3 days after you just color your hair. So much damage and chemicals can really harm you hair.

it will cause a problem you might want to consider a new product, however there are color treated products for styling. Adding color in to hair is harder then bleaching it, odd enough, the color molicules in the hair dye cling on to hair, so stay away from sulfate in shampoos it will strip your hair color fast and make it look gray-ed. Get some color treated safe stlying products also without sulfate too, not just the shampoo but the styling products, just look at the back or if you go to a salon ask for help looking for something to get the style you like

What oil are you talking about? If there was a little packet in the box, that was supposed to be mixed in with the color, for aroma (Garnier makes one.) But even if you don’t use it, its ok- the oil will not affect how your color turns out.
