next time you get a check up, ask doctor for a skin allergy test for
possible allergy to dust mites or mold or even your own pets if you have any. (you never know)
Also check to see if you may be experiencing acid reflux at night which can cause that.
A skin allergy test told me I had 5 allergies when i thought i had only 1(seasonal). I had a cat for 15 years and that was the main allergy I didn't know i had all that time.
Last but not least, you may just need a humidifier in your room or a de-humidifier in your room depending on how damp or dry the air is.

Could be allergies. I have allergies and this occasionally happens to me. If you have post nasal drip or drainage down the back of your throat, this can irritate your throat, making it itch and become sore. When this happens to me, my itchy/sore throat usually lasts a day or two, and then is gone.

Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. You can find some good home remedies at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html

Sounds like a typical allergy to either pet dander, mold spores or pollen. Use an antihistamine that you can get OTC, or have your doctor prescribe something. Be sure to use your vacuum cleaner regularly to get rid of the dust mites in your house that get embedded in your carpet. Change sheets and pillowcases often and even vacuum your mattress occasionally. If you have cats or dogs, brush them often. Some allergies, like pollen, are only seasonal. But if you have these symptoms year round, it's probably something in your indoor environment that's causing it.

I wake up a lot with a sore and dry throat, and it's because I sleep with my mouth open when I have allergies because I can't breath trhough my nose. So it could be that.

Sounds like post nasal drip, it's irriatating your throat, that's why it's sore. Take an antihistimine to dry up your nasal congestion, should work pretty quickly.

You did not say where you are. It could be mold spores, or it could be pollen. There also could be something else in your environment that you are sensitive to. Call the Dr and ask. Or try webmd.com
