I don't believe it was by the year 1844 but agree that he returned already. He told them in the 24th chapter of St. John, this generation shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled.
I think people keep on going by tradition of what they have always heard and don't really search the scriptures out for them selves.

Really? I wasn't aware the 7-year Tribulation had already gone by. Jesus said at Matthew 24:
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. >>>>27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.<<<< 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.

When was the sun darkened and the moon didn't give her light and the stars fell from heaven?
When did 2 witnesses (olive trees) stand in Jerusalem and every eye saw them and if any tried to kill them fire came from their mouth?
When did the Mount of Olives split down the middle from a great earthquake?
In 1844 the Jews had not returned to Jerusalem. When was one third of mankind killed? When did 2 million march against Jerusalem?
What Bible are you reading from???? This is just off the top of my head.

Revelation is the LORDs book also. And the last prophecies to be fulfilled are written at the end of Revelation.
All the prophecies haven't been fulfilled yet. So many Messianic prophecies of the OT have been fulfilled. If you want a list, just ask.

Not all prophecies foretold by Jesus happened already.Check this verse:
Matthew 24:21 for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.

No, not according to Jesus anyway.
There are ATLEAST three more sure signs (and many more not mentioned here) that must happen before He returns, in His own words and as prophesied by the prophets.
(1) Apostasy will increase and the people of God will be persecuted the world over not just in communist, Islamic, or pagan regions. In fact there is a good chance that the West turning pagan slowly will begin to persecute its own Christians and Jews. Witness the Bible being blamed for "hate crimes" against homosexuality.
For this the number of apostates will increase. I believe that tarring all semitic religions with the brush of violence as in the case of Islam will play a major role. This is already being attempted by pagans/ New Agers. If there is a war deemed to be relgious starting from the Middle East, that will be used as a pretext to accelerate the ban on the Bible, not counting the pressure from radical gays and the increasing number of those engaging in free sexual license and increase in debauchery and wilful degradation. When the status quo changes and the balance of power falls into the hands of the pagans / sex-crazed pseudo-Christian gnostics, then persecution of those decrying societal sins and the forced removal of Bibles will be state sanctioned.
2) The Jews will enmasse open their eyes to the Messiah as never before, then only Jesus will come. The Jews will be facing their final attempt at mass annihilation, worse than when the Nazis attempted it, at the hands of the last and most vile antiChrist (you see antiChrist knows the prophecy about Jesus coming after the Jews open their eyes. The Nazis knowingly or unknowingly, being steeped in the occult tried but failed to forestall the coming of Jesus by attempting just that). Think Herod and the slaughter of innocents and the attempted slaughter of the Jews throughout history, first to forestall the birth of Christ and now to forestall His Second Coming..
3) The Antichrist must first be revealed and allowed to seduce those who listen with itching ears what they want to hear, then only will Jesus return to restore all things.
Anybody have any opinion on my question here (I see it a lot today with lapsed Christians and Jews)
CORRUPTION OF THE BEST IS WORST ?

They have not all been fulfilled. The gospel must be preached to the whole world. Those others only show that we are very close to the end, relative to the history of the world.

Actually, if you're talking about what he said in Matthew 24, all the events happened 40 years after he died.
Read Josephus on the events of Passover, 70 AD.

That leaves it open to, any day now.
Today perhaps.
Are you watching?
Are you waiting?
Who is He coming back for?
Heb 9:28 so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
OLAY!
