Instead of looking at the differences why not look as the similarities.

I think people will come up with any reason to fight each other. We seem much more content with strife than peace. I think most people use faith as the "excuse" to fight. The faith isn't why people fight though. People's faith may define who they are and how they act and MOST are peaceful. So it is obvious that they don't fight because of faith. They fight because they are human!

To some extent this is true, but remember also that it is written,"14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
15What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
17"Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."
18"I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

UNIFIED faith. The DIFFERENT faiths you are referring to are NOT UNIFIED. They don't agree, many even conflict with each other.

THE FAITH of the bible is the THE ONE that Christ prayed for in John 17. He prayed for His. Not a bunch of conflicting denominations that drive past one another every Sunday morning to be with the ones that suit them. The problem we have now is finding THE ONE.

Good luck

Ego...the sense of me and mine - and other.

As long as there is an "other", there will be conflict.

There can be several religions living in harmony, but first the individual and communal ego needs to be taken down a few notches.
