No, the whole meaning of the Unitarian Universalist movement to me is drawing on all traditions and the "truths" found within them. The fact that there is overlap in the message of charity, tolerance, and kindness in all the major religions and that each person's spiritual path may differ but be valid is what I appreciate about the Unitarian Universalists. It focuses on the common elements that bind us rather than separate us. Although I am not Buddhist the individual Buddhist group that met as part of a local Unitarian church I attended was one of the most enjoyable spiritual learning experiences that I have had. If they were to just go with the Judeo-Christian religions than they would lose validity to me as an alternative and just be another Christian sect.

Historic Unitarianism believed in the oneness of God and not the Christian doctrine of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in one God) ratified at the Council of Nicaea in 325. Historic Unitarians believed in the moral authority, but not the deity, of Jesus.

The flaming chalice, symbol of the Unitarian Universalist Association.Throughout the world, many Unitarian congregations and associations belong to the International Council of Unitarians and Universalists. In the United States and Canada most Unitarians are Unitarian Universalist or UU, reflecting an institutional consolidation between Unitarianism and Universalism. Today, many Unitarian Universalists do not consider themselves Christians, even if they share some beliefs quite similar to those of mainstream Christians.Some Unitarian Universalists do have a Christian-centric belief system.

Unitarians are not Christian.
They do not believe that Jesus was the Christ. They do not believe they are sinners, therefore, they don't need a savour. God says they are sinners.
So they call God a liar.
Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Rom 3:10 as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;
Psa 14:3 They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.

NO! I think they are doing just fine the way they are. I wouldn't go ruining a good thing with such intolerance.
