It's called Niacin flush, you get it from drinking alcohol and also from getting to much Niacin through eating to much grainy foods and then taking a multivitamin containing strong doses of niacin. Stop the foods or the multivitamin and you will be fine.
If it continues, see a doctor you could have a natural unbalance.

The first thing I would ask you is what is your age? If you're middle-aged, it is probably pre-menopause. If you younger, or a good bit younger, it might be something you're allergic to food-wise, or perhaps a medication you're taking. I think you should see a doctor and explain what's going on. The flushing is probably nothing major. You can try taking an antihistamine like Benedryl before bedtime. If that helps, then it's definitely controlable. See your doc for a checkup! Godloveya, honey.

few years back Norway had a female prime minister who`s neck and face always turned red if someone from the opposition tried to prove her wrong when debating her. There is, of course, a slight possibility that she just did not like to be challenged. So I gather that did not quite answer your question? Sorry.

Its likely a food allergy. Keep track of what you eat, and see if it is worse within 36 hours of eating certain food. I had that problem, along with many other ailments, and they all cleared up when I found I was allergic to wheat, soy, eggs, meat, and commercial dairy. I gave them up, and no problems since. If I cheat on my diet, symptoms come back. Consider having allergy testing done.
