I notice that none of the answers have produced anything that describes a Democrat plan for winning the War on Terror.
I suspect that the Democrats intend to revert to the (failed) Clinton policy of conducting a high visibility cruise missile attack in order to give the appearance that they have done 'something.'

There you go again. Putting all your hatred in one basket. We all aren't cowards. I am a 25 year Marine Vet who did 2 tours of duty in Nam. It's not that we don't suppot our troops, I know I do. And I will until the end. If Bush would have sent more troops to Iraq in the first place, we may not be in the mess that were in. You don't bring a rock to a gun fight and thats what we did. We made one of our biggest mistakes by disbanning the Iraqi army. They were trained and fit. All we had to do was redirect them in a way that they would have helped keep the peace. Now we have a civil war that will be hard for even 300,000 troops to control. Also, we didn't disarm anyone. We allowed them to keep their weapons. There are many mistakes and we are just about beyond fixing them.

Success and Democrat really don't go together. It's like Nazi and Synagogue or Black and KKK. I suspect that as soon as we pull out they will begin funding the insurgency through peace-grants or some such non-sense. I'm actually beginning to believe the right-wing slogan that democrats hate America.

i confess... i looked at your avatar Skip, pinhead political bashing does nothing to solve or resolve complicated issues... i wish things were so simple as trashimouthing alternatives and options ... fortunately, the consensus of a wide variety of opinions will be the end result,... and fortunately, the extremists and the moderates are a bit broader minded in the theaters of government, than they are out here in Yahoo Answer-ville.
It's seldom worth answering statements or questions coming from people who wont allow ether email or IM.. they are shoveling there opinion ... not very open to alternative thought ..
on the other hand... they ARE thought provoking...not very influential actually,...but... provoking.

Dems don't care about winning, just making Bush look bad and whining. They would gladly line up for the AQ beheading team if they thought it would help bash Bush.

They don't have one that I have heard.
My guess is that you will only get flogged by them to create a diversion to their ignorance.

There won't be any success. It's far too late for that.
