My hair is chin-length all the way around. It curls at the very tip, either in or out depending on the day. It has some body, but not much, so I occasionally use volumizer. I have a natural part in the center. My hair is very fine, so barettes and pins don't stay, and a natural strawberry/red. I had long hair most of my life and would like to experiment now. I have looked at lots of hair products, but I have no idea where to begin. I like punky styles, feminine styles, just about anything. Does anyone with similar hair have any tips I can try?

Thanks, all who've answered so far. Btw, it looks great if I do nothing to it, or just volumize. It just frames my face and has that little flip at the ends. I'd just like to try some new looks that would be good for special occasions, parties and concerts, etc.

I have the exact same hair. Chin length, fine, thin, no volume...here's what I do... When you blow dry your hair either flip your head upside down or use a big round brush to pull up sections. Either of these give volume to your hair before you start any styling. THere are several things you can do to short hair. You can flip out just the ends and apply palmade to the tips, or use a flat iron with palmade to make your hair super straight. I always teaze my hair at the end to give it more shape and volume. You do this by getting sections of your hair towards the top of you head and brushing the wrong way on that section. Then carefully comb the right way just to make it so it doesn't look ratty. Apply palmade to your roots while lifting up. Use hair spray and your good to go! I also like to scrunch my hair. While it is wet put in gel and gently use your hands (or a difuser) to dry it. Dry on the lowest setting you have. From there you can leave it down or put half up. Hope this helps.

I agree with Cams, I have the same hair too, and I always blow dry my hair upside down for extra volume. Most days, I use a larger barrel curling iron to flip out my layers, and I use Redken's Rewind Styling Paste to put more texture in it. This is a great product to get a "punk" style. I also use Velcro rollers to get volume. I blow dry my hair until it is almost dry, and then I mist sections with hair spray and use the Velcro rollers. I let them stay in for a few minutes while I do my makeup, and then I blow dry my hair the rest of the way and take the rollers out. This creates a more feminine style, which you said you liked too. Hope this helps!

i imagine you should get it decrease angularly out of your shoulder for your chin. yet chin length hair is truly awesome, see you later because it really is pin immediately. i imagine medium brown highlights will be awesome, or a tremendous auburn.
