I'm an ex-Christian and I read it.....
I think it was good. Probably not going to persuade anyone unfortunately, but very well written and makes some excellent points.

I'm not Christian, but I read it. It even says on the back a quote from Leonard Susskind (author of "The Cosmic Landscape", professor of theoretical physics at Stanford):
"It's a shame that not everyone in this country will read Sam Harris's marvelous little book. They won't, but they should."

I've read the longer End of Faith by Harris. I wasn't too impressed, given his philosophy background at Stanford. Letter is probably better and I am guessing future works will be more coherent and better argued.

I didn't. I'm sure it doesn't come up to par on the required reading. Besides, anyone with the audacity to call this a Christian nation must be hooked up with the mob.
