I have been seeing a bloke for a couple of months. He has a little boy with his ex (not a problem) I know they will keep in touch cause of their son. That does not bother me but ...... we spent the weekend together. got a hotel together and had some time the two of us. We were cuddled up in bed together and he started texting her. She phoned him and he answered. Would not have been bothered had it been about their son but she started talking about nothing. She asked where he was and his answer was "in a hotle witha girl".They then spent the eveing sending flirty texts about Size not mattering. Am i wasting my time ( i know it seems obvious)

Does not seem a good basis to start a relationship on, check his feelings out with him it sounds as if he still has feelings for her. Do not let yourself get hurt any further get out of the relationship find someone who can cuddle you in bed without thinking of texting an ex. That would have annoyed me.

What in the world it sounds like he's one of those type players who don't hide a thing. And it all depends on how serious you are about him. Because if this is supposed to be a serious relationship the crap he's doing wouldn't fly it's disrespectful, inconsiderate, and that's just a couple i can name. If you're looking for something serious i would say look else where because it sounds like he might be using you just to make her jealous because he has nothing else to do right now. I would say, " See Ya!"

I know how you feel when i meet my boy friend his x kept calling they would talk for a long time she would fallow him she would go to their moms house and waited for him to get home that use to bother me a lot It made me feel like he was just using me to get her jealous or so he won't be alone. Talk to him tell him how you feel and see what he says if you think his answers is sincere keep going out with him she will eventually get the point and will only contact him for his son

if you really like him and wanna stay with him then you gotta sit him down and let him know you have no problem with him still in contact with his sons mother but your not comfortable with the types of conversation they have, especially him describing you as a girl hes in a hotel with! Explain how would he feel if your ex phoned and you had conversations with him like that. If he acts like an **** after you explain this then its obvious hes never gonna stop doing it and i would kick him to the kerb honey

Absoultely! Get rid of him. My opinion. Its obvious that he and his ex are still linked together, and it sounds to me when he said "in a hotle witha girl" that he is trying to get his ex jealous. Sorry sweety, but I would leave him fast.

Yes you are wasting your time, he is a loser and is playing games with you. If he had any respect for you he wouldn't be contacting the ex while you are around unless it was about the son and it was important.
If you don't make him treat you well he will treat you like ****.
Leave him and find someone who will treat you with respect.

Since you did not get up and put your clothes on and tell him to keep texting her better yet invite her to the hotel text one of your exboyfriends with him sitting there and tell him you have been best friends with him forever or that the exboyfriend is like a brother and see if he likes it SINCE you STILL want to be with him

She's always going to be a part of his life.... and it seems as if he likes it that way. I doubt his behaviour will ever change so if you're not happy with it (and who could blame you)... get out of the relationship. You shouldnt have to be 2nd behind his ex.... Find someone who deserves you.

you need to let him know that you don't have a problem with him talking to her about their son but you do have a problem with him flirting with her and tell him you know about the flirty texts. if he gets upset, he is a waste of time.
