Use Ms. Since Mr. doesn't indicate whether a man is married or not (and why should it matter in business correspondence) it is safest to use Ms - because it doesn't matter for women either. "Mrs." goes back to much more traditional, sexist days where it mattered whether a woman was married or not - mostly to stereotype them.

I can't believe I am going to say this, but the appropriate title is Ms. or Miss. I hate Ms. with a passion. Even before I was married, I preferred being called "Miss"

Ms. unless specifically requested otherwise. Mrs. is a social title, Ms. is a professional one.
