If we are supposed to be so energy consious why do we allow unsolicited mail?

I for one find it offensive that over 90% of my mail is garbage ie flyers credit card add ect. I truely think we need to outlaw bulk mail.
If we need something we can apply for it. If I want to know what is on sale I can pick up a flyer at the stoor. Very seldom do I ever even look at most of the crap in my mail. It goes from my mail box to the recycleing which take me valuble time to take to depot...

Business - it will not be outlawed.

I return the mail that has return envelopes - but empty so it will cost them money.

I really detest the so called "credit" card junk.

Its deep rooted in Capitalism. Dont expect it to change.
