Tom:
It may or may not be painful. It is for some girls; it isn't for others. It may just be unusual or uncomfortable for her, which some equate with pain.

Be sure she is excited (i.e. wet, i.e. lots of foreplay). She'll probably be nervous, so she'll be clenched up. That may make it even worse for her. Do what you can to relax her with touches, kisses, and words. Most women are aurally stimulated. (But don't tell her "this may hurt..." she already knows that... that will just make her tense up more. A better choice would be "tell me when you're ready" or "I'll take it slow until you tell me to go on.")

Second, consider using lubrication for extra help.

Third: Go slow. Let her get used to it. If her hymen is still intact (unlikely today; many women "pop their cherry" riding horses, in sports, in an accident, or using tampons), it will take a little to get through there. Go slow.

Fourth: Yes girls like to be held. Especially after the first time (which may or may not be traumatic).

The main thing you have to do is talk to her about it. Cos you have to relax her. A lot of foreplay is a good idea, because then she'll also be more relaxed (if she's stressed, she will not only not get as wet, but her vaginal muscles will tense up).
There will probably be blood. Prepare yourself. I'm sure she knows this, too.
Ask her if she wants to use lube. This may make it less painful for her, but it should be her choice.
Also - and neither of you might like this idea - it's supposed to be less painful if the girl is on top and sort of does it herself. Because then she can go at her own pace.
But in the end, just talk to her about it. Make sure you both know it's going to hurt, there will be blood etc.
Yeah, she'll probably like to be held after sex. Makes you feel loved.
Anyway, good luck! :)

Firstly - don't judge her on your previous girlfriend. Did that once. big mistake. Start with a clean slate and don't dig up the past.

It depends whether it's painful or not first time. Assume it's going to hurt. Advice is as follows:
1. Lots of foreplay and take your time.
2. She may be too nervous to get lubricated. in that case, keep some lube handy.
3. Make it special (i.e. candles etc) you want to make it a moment to remember. But don't go over the top.
4. Keep a towel warm on the radiator. Use it to mop up any blood etc.

Good luck.

The best advice I can give you is to use plenty of lubricant and let her be on top. That way she has more control over the action and speed, setting a better precedent for her future sexual experiences that it's never all about one partner's pleasure.

your girlfriend will be very scared if it is her first time if you are experience lover you will be gentle with her KY jelly might help first and yes lots of girls like to be held after making love it makes know difference if the girl cheated on you because you held her

hi first thing you need to remember is dont rush it. tell her it might hurt but its something that needs to be done and it only hurts once.

you need to do things slowly and at her pace cus remember, shes never done it before! once you have finished, comfort her and praise her for her actions. hopefully this will cement your relationship and go for many years to come..... i wish you both the very best of luck

Be gentle. And please talk to her and hug her as much as you can after that. It makes them feel good inside.
