I know what you mean about Matt being boring. I feel for him though because all the NASCAR.com writers talk about how no one ever asks about autographs. Last year NBC ran this fluff piece on Matt at the Green Bay practice and no one knew who he was. And Wisconsin is his home state.

i love Jeff Gordon he's form a million yet I also love Matt Kenseth. he's my second well-known driver and has been for awhile. The race became tremendous. i actually loved the actual shown truth that my 2 well-known drivers were up there virtually the entire race and that Dale Jr. had a nasty day! heavily, Matt Kenseth is the most underestimated driver accessible. he's a fine looking driver. he's consistent. he's a previous champion, he has made the chase each and each year it really is been round, he gained the Daytona 500 and now made a record for himself by prevailing Daytona and the subsequent race in California. ( the finest to attempt this became Jeff Gordon). So, Kenseth is in a league with the greats like Jeff Gordon.

I am new to watching NASCAR, but with the help of my wonderful boyfriend, who is VERY knowledgeable, I have learned a lot. That said, I watched yesterday and I was impressed by Kenseth. He is professional, not shooting his mouth off or gloating. We listened to the DirecTv hotpass audio between him and his crewcheif and he seemed grateful for the win, especially when he knew Harvick had a good chance at the lead after the red flag. I guess more people like jackasses than gentlemen. I prefer the gentlemen.

What's annoying about a guy who races clean, races fast and races to the front? If you want excitement, you are welcome to watch David Ragan or David Stremme all day. On most days one or the other of them will give you something to see. But what's annoying you is most likely that someone you don't "like" happens to be dominating the race all day - much like Tony Stewart was a dominant car in the Daytona 500. So I'd ask you - why don't you like Matt Kenseth? Because he doesn't have a rock star personality? Because he doesn't have smart-a$$ed comebacks to give the TV interviewers? Because he's quietly creating a record-setting career in racing? Because he's married to his sweetheart and respectful to his elders? The man is paid to race, and race he does.

What do you want the guy to do? Cause wrecks? I find it very entertaining to listen to his channel on Direct TV and hear how collected he is, even when he realizes that Harvick has the power to beat him if time allows. Harvick was closing 1/10 of a second on every lap with 6 to go before his tire failed. At that pace, it would have been a great finish.

I guess you prefer the likes of Tony Stewart who is more mouth than substance. He's even annoying in the Subway commercials. Looks like a wee little Napoleon.

Matt Kenseth is not annoying at all.What do you want him to be?An aggressive driver like Stewart?I have met him and he is the sweetest,kindest,most gentle man.You guys are just jealous because he is a winner,the same reason that u hate jeff gordon.You must be Jr fans!Ugh!

Matt Kenseth is one of the best drivers in NASCAR. he's also one of the cleanest racers and best drivers out there. I don't know what's not to like about him.

I think you are annoyed with him because he wins and he isn't who you want to win. Granted, he is NOT Mr. Personality, but he's not an obnoxious, whiner like some of the other drivers either. I'll take boring to some of their antics any day! Plus, he drives an AMERICAN car!!!
