Here's the deal. My girlfriend of a yr just broke up with me yesterday, after we had an argument (we had been experiencing different problems each not in our relationship). I was devastated, and she said could we meet the next day, so that she could 'explain', I said that there wasn't much point, as it wouldn't help either of us, she didn't want to be with me anymore. I said that I loved her, and that if she did want to take me back, I would be waiting for her at the place she said she wanted to meet me to explain. If she didn't turn up, I would assume that she didn't want to get back together and work through these problems together.

She didn't turn up. I go to get a bus home, she's standing there with two of her friends who are comforting her. We both get on the bus, she sits in the seat furthest away...i midway through the journey go up and say can't we just sort all this out....she says that she wanted to explain, but i said 'whats the point'?, then she started crying & told me2go

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Do not worry about your ex-girlfriend. Let her worry about you.

It seems like she has a problem and needs a friend now. If you really love her just be her friend for now. Ask her what's going on and if there is anything you can do to help...that is if you care. In the mean time just take care of yourself. Do things that normally make you happy. Get involved in new things start networking and building a support group of your own. Do not complain about your x-girlfriend that has a odd way of back lashing or sending you back to an emotional pit. Just be kind, respect her wishes and let everything be. You haven’t lost anything. Once your back on your feet happy and doing well again she may wonder why you are so happy and want to be apart of that again. First you have to get out of your negative rut. Just be patient, build yourself up and enjoy life. Don't push the issue give her time. She may have a good reason for wanting to break up with you that's not even your fault. She is probably trying to give you a way out, because she cares or she is embarrassed of what you may think of her. She is insecure about something. She probably made a costly mistake. You may just want to back out quietly.

You really need to talk to her. It is clear she does love you and may be going through a difficult time right now. And even though you are hurt by the brake up you both need cl osier. You cannot Miss treat her just because she broke it off that is not handling it like a mature person at all. If anything you may be able to stay friends after things calm down but please go and talk to her. Can't you see she is hurting too?

Breaking up is a part of life. I know that it sucks. It was probably harder for her to have to confront you about it than to just leave it alone. Maybe it was just a preference. There is nothing wrong with you.
What you should do now is just let her go. Keep your head up. Remember, there are plenty of other fish in the sea. You'll be okay. I am sure.

I sincerely feel you should just give her a little time, let her feel the vacum/////// then try getting in touch with her again, this time there might not be a need to even explain anything.
